Associate Attorney
Rachel Chazin-Gray is thrilled to join the Blaker & Granet, LLP team! Rachel fell in love with the fast-paced and dynamic immigration law field while working with Stephen Blaker in New York, so it feels like fate that their paths have crossed again in Los Angeles. Prior to this role, Rachel was an Attorney Advisor at the Executive Office for Immigration Review in San Francisco and West Los Angeles, where she drafted decisions for Immigration Judges for nearly five years.
She has extensive experience working on cases involving applications for relief from removal including asylum, withholding of removal, protection under the Convention Against Torture, Cancellation of Removal, Adjustment of Status, and more. Rachel has also handled issues concerning the cross-over between criminal law and immigration law.
Prior to law school, Rachel worked as a paralegal for a large immigration firm where she managed the immigration needs of a small client and worked on O-1 visas, L-1 visas (and BlanketL-1 visas), H-1 visas, PERM, naturalization, and family-based applications. Rachel received her juris doctor with a Social Justice Concentration from UC Law San Francisco.
